It'll mean more sanding later but the edges of the groves will be easier to keep from being damaged. It will tolerate some arbor wobble and most inexpensive saws have some of that.
The long feed out for the table saw would be a good item anyway. When I cut stock, I always cut between the blade and the fence and in the case of the gang-sawing assembly we use - between the blades I can set up the saw to be within.
